    Description: Sticker RELEASE OUR LEADERS NELSON ROLIHLAHLA MANDELA Nelson Mandela is known throughout the world as the leader of our people and the ANC. He has fearlessly fought oppression all his life. He was born in Umtata on July 18th 1918; the son of a chief who grew up to serve all our people. in 1944 he joined the ANC and with Sisulu and Tambo founded the Youth League. he soon became one of our dynamic leaders and led the Defiance Campaign against unjust laws in 1952. He was banned, restricted and imprisoned on many occasions. In the early 1960's he led the ANC and Umkhonto We Sizwe from underground. With the launching of armed action, he became the first Commander-in-Chief of Umkhonto. In August 1962, he was captured by the enemy and sentenced to 5 years imprisonmnet. After the capture of our other leaders at Rivonia in 1963, he was charged with them, and sentenced to life imprisonment. His self-sacrifice, devotion and dedication to the struggle for our people's freedom remains an inspiration to us all. WE DEMAND THE RELEASE OF OUR LEADERS AND POLITICAL PRISONERS!! LONG LIVE THE ANC!!!

You warrant that all personal information supplied by You is both true and correct at the time of provision.
