Walter Max Ulyate Sisulu (18 May 1912 Ã¢â¬â 5 May 2003) was the General Secretary of the African National Congress (ANC) in 1949 to 1955 and later became the Deputy President of the ANC in 1991 to 1994. He was jailed at Robben Island, where he served more than 25 years.|
